Write a JSONPath expression and see matching values update as you type, with the path of each match. Syntax follows RFC 9535 plus common filter extensions.
How it works
$ is the root, .key or ['key'] selects a member, [0] an index, [*] every item, .. searches all depths, and [?(@.price < 10)] filters.
JSONPath was standardised in 2024 as RFC 9535. Older implementations differ in details, especially filter syntax, so test expressions against the library you use.

What is the difference between JSONPath and jq?
JSONPath only selects values. jq is a full language that can also transform and construct new JSON.
How do I select keys with spaces or dots?
Use bracket notation: $['first name'].
