CSV to XML Converter
Convert CSV rows into XML records. Choose the root and row element names; header names become child elements (made XML-safe).
How it works
Each CSV row becomes one row element, and each column one child element named after the header. Header names with spaces or leading digits are adjusted to valid XML names.
Values are escaped, so ampersands and angle brackets in data are safe.
Everything above runs in JavaScript inside this tab. Your data is not uploaded. Inputs are remembered in this browser only so they survive a reload; you can switch that off on the privacy page.
Questions
Can I use attributes instead of child elements?
Yes, switch "columns as attributes" on to get <row id="1" name="Ada"/>.
Is my CSV sent to a server?
No. Conversion happens in your browser. The only network request is the optional AI explanation when your input has an error and you ask for it.
